About Us

We are your neighborhood coffee roaster. We roast only the top 10% of premium specialty beans found from the premier growing regions around the world. The beans are handpicked at the peak of ripeness and are meticulously graded by bean size and density. We roast them in small batches with a drum style convection roaster to ensure an even roast throughout the bean. Our roaster is manually operated by the owner of Grand Rapids Coffee Roasters to ensure a consistent roast. Upon roast completion, we hand pack the coffee in premium packaging and deliver it to our customers. Free business delivery on orders of 5 lbs or more. Call in your order today before noon and we will deliver it the next business day.

Ingredients We Use

100% Arabica Coffee - Fair Trade Certified - Organically Shade Grown (unless stated otherwise)

Tea: All tea comes from the same plant, camellia sinensis, which is native to Asia, but is grown around the world in tropical and subtropical areas. With over 3,000 varities, tea is the most consumed beverage in the world after water. The various flavor profiles of teas arise from different processing methods, growing conditions and geography. In general, teas have approximately 50% less caffeine than coffee. Teas can be divided into six major categories, including black, green, oolong, white, puerh and dark tea. Herbals (or tisanes) are drinks that are made from plants other than camellia sinensis, such as chamomile, peppermint, hibiscus, ect.

Our philosophy is simple: Great Coffee Starts With A Fresh Roast™. We roast to order so our coffee is the freshest available in all of West Michigan!

Our teas are purchased in small lots and re-package to order to maintain freshness.

We are located at the drop-off site of 1111 Godfrey Ave Suite S-530 on the fifth floor. Stop by and see us on Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm for a coffee roasting demonstration and a free cup of our freshly roasted coffee!
