Benefits of Membership
Membership at West Michigan Co-op provides you and your family with access to high- quality, local food and other products year-round.
You will have the ability to shop for these products in the convenience of your own home, using our e-commerce website.
You will have the opportunity to meet the farmers and business owners from whom you purchase your products, ask them questions, and learn about their farming and businesses practices.
You will be part of a network of like-minded individuals who care about quality food, healthy products, and sustainable agriculture.
You will be helping to support small, local farmers – the backbone of sustainable agriculture.

Cost of Membership
There is an annual membership fee of $35.00. In addition, there is a surcharge of 5% on each order. These funds are used to support West Michigan Co-op.
All new members are allowed a two-month free trial period before their membership fee is due.
Volunteering
West Michigan Co-op is run entirely by volunteers. There are no paid employees. All members are asked to volunteer there time at some point each year to help ensure our continued success.

Voting Membership
Voting members of the Co-op have the ability to vote at the annual meetings and at any special membership meetings that may be called throughout the year. In addition, voting members are eligible to run for a seat on the Board of Directors when there is a vacancy. As such, they have a greater voice in the direction of the Co-op.

- Pay a $100.00 fee to become a lifetime voting member. This fee is in addition to the $35.00 annual membership fee, which must be maintained to remain a lifetime voting member.
